Public Art with a Purpose | Children's Blankets
Dec 2013 - Jan 2014

Organization and execution of yarn bomb installation (5 structures) at Sussex County Community College. The tree coverings were then converted into blankets. I along with many community members donated 38 children’s blankets to Pathways to Prosperity, NJ.

This project blossomed from a course project in a photojournalism class. I decided to create my own event to photograph for our final creation of a spread of images.

Prints

Printmaking | Inspired by Fiber Arts
Ongoing

As an ongoing personal project, I like to explore the ways that fiber arts can be incorporated into traditional printmaking processes such as cyanotypes and collotypes. The prints seen here are examples of those made in undergraduate classes, as well as for print exchanges with The Sketchbook Project

Photography | Motion Flowers
Jan - May 2014

Motion Flowers explores the beauty that occurs when blur is introduced to flowers. What colors stand out? How does the background play a role? This study challenges the concept of "blurry photos" and makes motion blur the focal point. Motion Flowers was completed as a digital photography class assignment during undergraduate studies.
